Meet our experts
Professor Krzysztof Marycz is an internationally recognized scientist specializing in cell biology and regenerative medicine. He serves as Director of the Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering Program and Chief Executive Officer of the International Institute of Translational Medicine (MIMT). He is also a Visiting Professor at University of California, Davis.
He is the author of over 230 peer-reviewed scientific publications, with a cumulative Impact Factor exceeding 900, an H-index of 45, and more than 6,500 citations. Between 2021 and 2025, he was ranked among the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists according to Elsevier and Stanford University.
His research focuses on the development of innovative stem cell–based therapies, mitochondrial transfer, intercellular communication, and advanced biomaterials and functional scaffolds for tissue and bone regeneration. He leads numerous national and international research projects and supervises doctoral candidates who now work at leading academic centers worldwide.
In recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements, he has received multiple honors, including an award from the President of the Republic of Poland. He also serves on editorial boards of prestigious scientific journals and maintains active collaborations with top research institutions across Europe and the United States.
Dr Fabrizio Bembo is an equine veterinarian with extensive clinical experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine, working with racehorses, show jumpers, and polo horses. He is based in Aix-en-Provence, France. He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at University of Milan and gained international clinical experience in France, Australia, and Sweden. For nearly three decades, he ran a private practice, providing veterinary care for two racetracks in Marseille and supervising the management of over 900 horses in professional training centers.
Since 2002, Dr Bembo has been a member of Professor Magalon’s regenerative medicine team at Hôpital de la Conception, where he contributed to the development of innovative tendon and joint therapies using PRP, micro-fat, and SVF. He is an international instructor in orthobiologics, delivering courses in Japan, the United States, and Poland. In 2019, he co-authored a pioneering project on the intravenous application of autologous SVF in horses in collaboration with HumanMED GmbH.
His clinical research focuses on combined PRP and micro-fat therapies for degenerative joint disease in sport horses. Dr Bembo combines clinical practice with education and R&D, specializing in advanced regenerative treatments for equine athletes.
Dr Frances James is an internationally recognised equine surgeon and specialist in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation, with over 20 years of clinical, academic, and research experience. She graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Cambridge, receiving distinction in Animal Surgery and multiple awards for academic excellence.
She completed her postgraduate internship and residency in Large Animal Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania (New Bolton Center, USA), followed by an academic appointment as Lecturer in Equine Sports Medicine. Dr James is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS), the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS), and the American College of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (Equine), and is an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Surgery. Since 2016, she has been working as an Equine Surgeon at Newmarket Equine Hospital and is FEI Veterinarian.
Dr James has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications, including in Equine Veterinary Journal and Veterinary Surgery, and is a frequent invited speaker at international conferences. Her main clinical and research interests include equine orthopaedic surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques, postoperative complications, and equine sports medicine.
By combining high-level clinical practice with scientific and teaching activity, Dr Frances James brings extensive experience and evidence-based insight to her lectures.
Dr Stefan Cokelaere is a European board-certified specialist in equine surgery as well as sports medicine and rehabilitation, with extensive clinical and academic experience. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine from Ghent University in 2001, where he subsequently completed an internship and residency in Large Animal Surgery (ECVS).
In 2007, he became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons, followed in 2016 by certification from the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. From 2008 to 2018, Dr Cokelaere worked as Associate Professor at the Utrecht University Equine Teaching Hospital, with a particular focus on equine spinal pathology and diagnostics. He is also a certified member of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (since 2022) and the Equine Gait Analysis Society (since 2023).
He has worked in leading European referral centers and, since September 2025, has held the position of Senior Orthopaedic Specialist at Pferdeklinik Leichlingen (Germany). His current research interests include equine sports orthopaedics, advanced diagnostic imaging, and regenerative joint medicine, which is the focus of his ongoing PhD.
Dr Cokelaere is a highly regarded international speaker, recognized for integrating orthopaedic surgery with modern rehabilitation strategies and biomechanical analysis of sport horse movement.
Angelika Jarząbek is the co-founder of Mind Engineering, as well as a mentor and coach with over ten years of experience working with individual clients and organizations. She supports people and teams in processes of change, development, and the building of effective communication.
Her work is grounded in psychology, theory of mind, and precise analysis of decision-making structures. She specializes in mentoring, interpersonal communication, and relationship work, translating complex logical concepts of the mind into practical and applicable tools.
At Mind Engineering, she is responsible for designing development concepts, structures, and processes, with a strong focus on strengthening personal agency, internal clarity, and mature communication — both intrapersonal and interpersonal.
